shouldn't mean traveling alone.

We made that intentional.
The story
It started with a girl teaching English in Chai Nat. Small town, central Thailand — the kind of place that doesn't make the backpacker trail. She wanted to take the slow boat to Laos. Two days down the Mekong, the kind of trip that needs company. But she was going alone.
So she put the word out. Looking for other travelers heading the same way.
That search eventually led her to Singapore. We met there. A few years later, we married in Bali. We have three kids now — and still convinced the best things that happen while traveling involve other people, and that too much of it still depends on luck, timing, and whoever happens to be around.
That's the gap roammate closes.
The mission
Solo travel is one of the most transformative things a person can do. It forces you out of comfort zones, builds confidence, and exposes you to perspectives that reshape how you see the world. But it shouldn't require you to be alone the whole time.
Our mission is to make travel more social, more affordable, and safer — by connecting like-minded travelers in real time. Not curated group tours. Not a dating app with a passport filter. A genuine tool for people who want to share a meal, split a taxi, find a hiking partner, or simply not eat alone on their birthday in a foreign city.
We believe the best travel stories involve other people. We're building the infrastructure for those stories to happen more often.

The app is in development. We're building it carefully — because the people who will use it are trusting us with their safety in unfamiliar places.
The team
We're a small team — a handful of people who between us have traveled through more than fifty countries, slept in dorm beds and overnight buses, eaten street food that turned out to be extraordinary and some that definitely wasn't, found love and a soulmate, and accumulated a lot of opinions about what solo travel actually needs.
We're building from experience, not assumption. Every feature we design, we've wished existed when we were out there ourselves. We know what it's like to feel isolated in a crowd, and we know what it's like to meet one person who changes the whole shape of a trip.
We're remote-first, passport-obsessed, and deeply allergic to building something generic.
